Season of Sharing and Giving
The jingles were playing so often on air these days that they have reminded me to visit a home before Christmas.
Took the opportunity to weed out the entire family wardrobe, we were surprised at how much excess clothes that were collecting dust in the closet. Plus all the outgrown clothes from Valerie, the amount of bags literally filled up our 4WD's trunk boot and back seats. Jammed in together also is Valerie's little toy horse ride and off we went to Mr Morgun's place this morning.
We chosen Handicapped and Disabled Children's Association of Klang simply because we knew that this place is in need of our handouts. It was proven true right from the moment we hit the front gate...
I felt so sad for this kid when she turned everywhere crying looking for me... Auntie, auntie, susu, susu, ayam, ayam...I can't make out what she actually wanted, guess she is asking for food but her tears keep rolling down from her defected eyes...
We were eager to see little Ah Hong. He was just about 1 year old when we first met him, a very cute baby who was suffering from bone cancer and holes in the heart, coupled with down syndrome...but his smiles are all so sweet. Today we were so relieved that he had gone thru a successful heart surgery in IJN with the help from kind donors who donated RM30K hence he has been given a new lease of life.
We as parents are proud that Valerie can share her belongings and is happy in giving it away to the less fortunate
Valerie has had great time with this horse riding toy and is time to pass it on
The picture below was Ah Hong in 2007. Isn't it a blessing to see such a lovely healthy boy now?
Good job to Mr Morgun and his team

Bravo Aunties and Uncle!

Seen here is Agilis from Medan, Indonesia. She is in the third year working or rather caring for these kids at the centre. A humble person with definitely, a big heart. Under her tender love care, Ah Hong is getting chubbier from the day he was discharged from IJN. God only knows how much hardship she has gone thru in caring children with medical and physical limitations.
Part of a monthly fixed commitment, school fees of RM1,835.00 for children attending Special School around Klang Valley
Letter of Appeal from the Centre
