AMITABHA CENTRE - Part two

Amitabha Centre is not just another charity-oriented assistance centre but it also plays a vibrant role in the life of the less-privileged community regardless of race, religion and creed.

Amitabha Centre had set up Haemodialysis Centres, Old Folks Centre (located in Kulai, Johor, Happy Garden, Old Klang Road Kuala Lumpur and Taman Malim Jaya, Melaka ). Scholarship for the poor, provide medical assistances (financially), give necessities to poor families and help sourcing jobs for the handicap and ex-convicts. Their goal is to eventually be a self-sustaining charity foundation by employing the less privileged and ex-convicts to collect recyclables and using the generated incomes to reach to more needy person and sustain their charity programs.

Hi Jenny, I'm here again. I read about the Amitabha Centres on your blog. I'm have some used clothings and shoes, do you think they need it. Actually I have kept it aside to donate to charity house. Since I read Amitabha needs donation, so I thought I can donate to them.

today i made a call to d Amitabha kl kuchai lama branch.i never expected how money face of the officer was,do you know wat he talk to me?he direct ask for money and sound like a loanshark,first of msg asking me can bankin how much?wao,im really disappointed of all n d officer did,im a montly donation,my purpose of calling is hope can join Amitabha n lend my hand to their charity campaign,d officer ask me just leave my number then will call me if there is any charity event,i feel like he never jot down my hp number,after given my contact number,he just hangup,im reali fraustrated bcos of i havent mention my name....im feel disappointed again,i hope that's an acceptable reason for him at the time rushing to toilet but i dont think so,cos i feel he refuse to wasting the time on me after i mention my purpose of calling and not bankin any funds(going to hangup my call).

Don't be sadden by incidents like this. Many times along the way of my charity campaigns, I have seen more dishearten scenarios but what keeps me going on are the needy. They are the pitiful lots behind the scene who are waiting for people like you.

I always believe that we help others, Up There will know, don't forget, whatever we are doing, The god is watching!
