Sinthamani Divine Life Ashram - An orphanage in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur

Was practically doing nothing at home when everyone else was away painting the Singapore town red, I browsed thru the web and some links directed me to this place, which was distressful enough and it aroused the curiosity in me and decided to pay them a visit when I get home. ( must be in the condition that is fit enough to drive around.)

The contact to this home is :

Sithamani Divine Life Ashram
Rumah Kebajikan (ROC No. 001529609-H)

No:1112, Block 150
Lorong 5/160
Kawasan A, Rumah Panjang
Jinjang Utara
52000 Kuala Lumpur

So, prelude to the visit, lets not waste time here to help these poor Indian kids as soon as we can.

By giving them more exposures in this blog, people can come forward to help them in this Yule-tide festive season.

Entrance to the home

Home's only sign board

Old fashioned toilet far away from the dorms

Living under asbestos sheets that often leaks when it rains

Children age between 1 month to 16 years old with some without birth certificates left behind by their parents

Two dorms split the boys and girls

Studies were not left out

Toilets were being built

Hi Jenny! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY.

I'm felt pityful on those children. Are you going there? I think I can't make it with a newborn around but I'm sending some used and unused stuff and also a cheque over by courier. Hope that can help them a bit.

Hi Kenix, the home contact was published in my blog earlier.

You can bring anything you like to cheer the children up. Having Kentucky or Mac Donald burger is a very good idea as they dont get this kind of treats very often. Call the home up to check the latest headcount of the inmates and plan your budget accordingly. Thank you for your kindness!

i came across your blog while looking for orphanages...I'm so happy that there are ppl like u in this world. i planned my first fund raiser in 2007, with the help of my bro n bf, n ever since I've been trying to make it a yearly thing, going a round looking for homes in need. luckily this year i have my buddy who is working with me on it, n we really want to help a home, that has no stable financial backing....this home looks like it could use our help...i will try n visit it n see wht we can do for them!! kudos to u, n i hope u continue ur cause!!
